Development GA06P086014 (20 Dwelling Units in 10 Buildings): Complete interior renovation including replacement of all walls and ceilings; replacement of floor finishes; replacement of kitchen cabinets; replacement of closet shelving; replacement of all interior and exterior doors, frames and hardware; replacement of security screen doors; replacement of windows, cleaning and reinstallation of security window screens; replacement of all above and below slab plumbing and fixtures; replacement of electrical service, distribution panel, wiring, devices, and fixtures; and replacement of heating systems. Removal of selected sidewalks and restoration of yards, removal and replacement of sidewalks in locations directed by the Owner, and reconfiguration of handicapped accessible parking and access to designated dwelling units.

Pre-Bid Conference

On January 25, 2018 at 10:00 AM Legally Prevailing Time, a MANDATORY pre-bid conference for all general contractors will be conducted at the above offices of the Owner. Subcontractors, material suppliers and other interested parties may attend. The purpose of the conference is to review the project, the bidding requirements, to answer any questions and to give all bidders an opportunity to visit the sites and verify existing conditions. All bidders must attend this conference.

Sealed bids shall be received until 2:00 P.M. Legally Prevailing Time, on February 8, 2018 at the offices of the Owner. At that time all bids received will be publicly opened and read aloud. Proposals submitted by mail should be addressed to the Owner at the address set out above and plainly marked as indicated in the “Instructions to Bidders.” All proposals submitted by mail will be collected at the above-mentioned mailing address at 1:00 P.M. Legally Prevailing Time, on the day mentioned above and taken to the offices of the Owner. There they will be opened.

Document Ordering Information

Copies of bid documents, including drawings and specifications, may be obtained by prime contractors, subcontractors, or material suppliers from the Architect at the address indicated below for a NON-REFUNDABLE CHARGE OF $ 80.00 per set. The document charge shall be submitted in the form of a Company Check, Certified Check, Cashier’s Check or Money Order made payable to the Architect. Checks shall be drawn on a financial institution insured by the Federal Deposit Insurance Corporation (FDIC). No documents will be issued by the Architect until the document charge has been received and no partial sets will be issued. To allow for reproduction and delivery, anyone desiring to pick up a set of bid documents from the Architect’s office must call Architect’s office a minimum of 24 hours in advance to place the order. Requests for documents shall be accompanied by a street address, telephone number and shall identify the purchaser as a prime contractor, subcontractor, or material supplier. Also, provide the current E-mail address where addenda may be forwarded.
