Peachtree Towers was the first residential apartment tower to be designed and built in downtown Atlanta. Bradfield, Richards, Rhodes & Associates Architects, Inc. was commissioned to provide a three-phase renovation to bring the building into the 21st century. The first phase consisted of a purely utilitarian renovation; the replacement of the existing windows. The second phase consisted of the renovation of all 22 stories of common area hallways. The third phase of the renovation consisted of improving the exterior appearance of the building. By designing renovations to the existing balconies, refinishing the exterior brick and adding accent lighting to the tower, the building once again stands out as a wonderful opportunity for housing for people looking for upscale living in a downtown environment.
