ICR's first project was a 9,500 square foot
speculative office building on the site of their headquarters in Atlanta's
Buckhead neighborhood. Bradfield, Richards, Rhodes & Associates Architects,
Inc. created an imaginative design with a
curvilinear facade that maximized the leasable area by exactly following the
setback at the curve in the frontage road. While the street elevation was
designed as a curtain wall alluding to its commercial use, the front of the
building was designed with a more traditional facade that emulates the scale
and detail of an adjacent structure built ten years prior.
