Complete restoration of all first floor interior finishes, electrical and mechanical systems in the Food Services Building, totaling approximately 16,000 square feet. The renovation created a new buffet room with supportive catering kitchen, and a new exterior patio to accommodate large outdoor events. A gateway portal and a building addition were created at the front facade to accommodate a new handicap accessible elevator and to emphasize the public entrance of the building. This entrance is further accentuated with a dramatic glazed protective canopy protecting the access and emphasizing the building’s modern design roots.
