This low-income housing renovation consists of 25 apartments located in Newnan, Georgia. Bradfield, Richards, Rhodes & Associates Architects, Inc. performed architectural design services for the complete modernization of the buildings interiors and exteriors. An important element of this projects success is the design of new, deep gabled porches with clearly defined, defensible boundaries, which encourage opportunities for social interaction. The attractive scale and presence of a playground is enhanced with new equipment, extensive landscaping and a decorative iron fence.
