Charleston's infill housing includes 113 units on 14 sites in five different neighborhoods. The communities consist of one, two and three bedroom units and were all designed with the historic character of the existing neighborhoods. Over the years, this project has won several design awards from the National Endowment for the Arts, a Federal Design Achievement Award for Meritorious Design and a Presidential Award for Design Excellence.
