This three-component project involves the renovation of an existing 1340 SF building, as well as a 3300 SF addition.  An adjacent duplex unit was also renovated to serve as a community room facility and the administrative annex. The reconfiguration of these dwelling units provides a complete and secure child care campus with three buildings, playground areas, dedicated parking, and drop-off.  The new design allows proper segregation of infants, toddlers, preschool and after school care while also providing a commercial kitchen, offices, and a sick room to isolate the inevitable ill child.  Breakaway has long desired the prestigious National Association for the Education of Young Children (NAEYC) accreditation, and the new Center will allow them to fulfill this dream.
