Every client inevitably brings new and unique requests to the table, particularly when the commission involves their vacation property. The departure point for this beachfront was a house which was to be reminiscent of a childhood home in Vietnam. It was to emulate authentic Asian features throughout with an interior finished exclusively in numerous wood species including cypress and juniper. Close collaboration with the Contractor was mandatory to achieve the difficult detailing of roof ridges, brackets and general framing.
